Antique items hunting continues...

Yap, yesterday we went to several junkshops to hunt for antique items to be recycled for the upcoming project of my sister. We looked for old sewing machines, bottles, TVs, bicycles, and more but we only purchased a few. We will continue again later until we collect all the required items. Her project is somewhat huge and it really requires a lot of vintage items to be repurposed. Once complete, my hubby's task will come in and that is to turn all these items into wonderful tables, lamps, etc. My sister trusted his skills as he did several in our home. Do you collect vintage items too? What are they? The attached image is from recyclart.org.

I like to visit with my relatives vintage items for the home like clothing and towels for the home.

@Deepizzaguy but sometimes some relatives cannot just let go of their old things. My father-in-law tends to hoard his old things even towels and utensils even if they can no longer be used

So you will be in business now with the refinishing these items? It is a wonderful idea. I do not collect, but there is a place near me here that is full of those vintage.

Is that a project for your sister's work? Or she has a business selling vintage/recycled items turned into a functional one? That table looks really nice and neat

It's actually a project that is so way out of her career but it was given to her out of trust so she grabbed it. Hoping that we will do good with these.

My husband collects antique furniture and oil paintings. They truly can be beautiful and put to good use.

I completely agree that collecting vintage items can be a very engaging activity. Searching for and collecting antique objects can be both a hobby and a great way to create unique items for the home. Although I do not collect vintage items myself, I know many people who are passionate about this hobby. Your sister and your husband seem to be very talented in this area, and I am sure their future projects will look amazing.
