11 March - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today was a good day. I was on the late side getting up this morning, but I still got almost 8 hours of sleep. I guess I must need all this sleep I'm getting. I'm thankful for getting my steps. It was a combination of walking the building, twice per floor, including the underground garage, and being with my son and the walking I did to and from his girlfriend's apartment. I got the last of my steps as I stepped into my apartment when I got home. I'm thankful for the time I spent with my son and his girlfriend this afternoon. The book covers are almost complete. I just sent her the font style for Where Eagles Soar and Destination Love. Where Eagles Soar only needs the book title and my name on the cover. They also have ideas for the back and spine, so it will be interesting to see what they come up with. I'm thankful for getting more work done on Where Eagles Soar before I left for their place. I have about 60 pages left to edit and then I will seek out someone to proof and read it. They're called Beta readers. Okay, that was my day. I didn't get here as I planned, so all notifications will need to wait until Monday. Life happens. I'm sorry I couldn't be here. I'm also thankful winter isn't over. We have a storm coming in from about 9 p.m. until 10 a.m. Monday morning. They are calling for 8.8 inches of snow over that time. They posted advisories.
