That used to be one of the awards given toward the end. And, um, 'best supporting performer"? Are they not doing separate actor and actress awards this year? I first thought that they were going to give out both at the same time in the spirit of saving time but now I can't tell what's up. Well, the 5 people just shown were all men and **SPOILER ALERT** the guy who was the kid from the Goonies movie won. (The award was actually for Everything Everywhere All At Once) There *has* to be another award coming up for best supporting actress. Yes now they are showing the nominees for the actresses. Host Jimmy Kimmel said that they are showing all 23 awards this year after several years of cutting some out to try to shorten the show. This is one way that they are consolidating things. I'm fine with it because it isn't just like cinematography and score awards that most people don't care much about. P.S. *spoiler* The winner for best supporting actress is Jamie Lee Curtis. Awesome!

Thank you for the information about the awards ceremony. I also heard that they are returning to presenting all 23 awards this year, which is great. And congratulations to Jamie Lee Curtis on winning the "Best Supporting Actress" award!

I did enjoy that movie! Although it didn't "wow" me like I expected an Oscar winner to affect me, it was still worth seeing.

I was glad to see that Jamie Lee won. I have now recorded Everything Everywhere...and we will try and watch it this weekend.
