Another Tri country Soccer(Football)world cup on offing?

The year 2026 would be a special year in the history of World Cup Football.
Firstly, it would have 48 teams instead of the current 32.
Next, there are Three North American hosts- US, Canada and Mexico.
Now, on these lines, Morocco is also going to try hosting the Soccer (Football) world cup 2030 alongwith Spain and Portugal.
So this could mean more two or three nation co hosting the show.
Or could it be just a temporary fad?
Only time would tell !

Yes and 48 teams would mean chance for even the Indian Football team to qualify for the World Cup Football in the future and yes an extended time frame.

Thank you for the information! It's really interesting that the 2026 FIFA World Cup will have more teams and will be hosted by three North American countries. It will be intriguing to see if Morocco will also bid to co-host the 2030 World Cup with Spain and Portugal. Only time will tell how this will all unfold!
