Yesterday's trip to the big Tesco.

It was starting to spit with rain when we went out to go to the big Tesco yesterday. When we got there I got rid of the recycle as usual and found a trolley someone had left in the foyer. I went to meet Mum at the door and she had also got a trolley! So I said, I've already got a trolley! And she said that's good because I think this ones got a wonkey wheel! We went up on the lift and the first thing we did was get some new flowers. The daffodils we got last week had already wilted. My Mum's friend Frances says they don't like being cut. Then I went to look at the magazines but I didn't buy any. I saw a cat magazine with a cat on the cover that was poking its tongue out! My Mum said I bet a lot of cats want to do that to their owners! I then went and got my bottle of water and I looked for a prawn layered salad but there wasn't one and I looked at the edge of the shelf where the prices are and there was a note that said they were due in on the 17th! So I got a salmon rice bowl instead. I then went to look for some bubblebath but they didn't have the ones that we have so I didn't bother. I'll try and get some on Friday. We went to get some pads for my Mum. Then we went to the fruit and veg section. I got some pomegranate seeds and my step-dad wanted 1 garlic but the only single garlic was smoked so we had to get him a net of 3 small ones. Mum got some salad stuff and strawberries and I got the usual stuff. Then I got my soy milk with no sugar, my vegan yoghurts (peach) and just 1 milk for my Mum and step-dad. Mum got some puddings for her and my step-dad for Sunday. Then she got some grated cheese. I got my chick'n'less bites and a vegan curry for Friday, but I got a different pot of rice to go with it. I asked my Mum if she thought there was too much in there for 1 curry and she said it's all according how hungry you are isn't it? I couldn't get any of my vegan puddings again, but I did get some chilli battered prawns. I got myself some miso, tamari soy sauce and some udon noodles, and then we went and got some soups and pot noodles for my step-dad. Then we got 6 sliced buns and some cakes. I got some of my small vegan cakes. There was a young boy who was rather fat with his mother looking at the cakes and his mum was asking him if he wanted ones with icing on, and I was thinking, yeah, I know why he's so fat! I went and got some pringles, original flavour this time, and then we got some T-bags. I needed both my matcha and chamomile T-bags and my Mum got some Typhoo T-bags. And my Mum got some nuts. Then we went to the frozen section. Mum got some peas and chips and battered fish and fish fingers and some waffles and I got my cauliflower bites. Then we got toilet paper, kitchen roll and bin bags for the wheelie bin and then we went to pay. It came to just over £130. We were just on time and I quickly changed my book at the Tesco book swap. (Although when I got home I found I'd already got that book so it's going straight back next week!) When we got home it was coming down much heavier, so unpacking the boot was a wet business! I unpacked the groceries and sat down to rest and eat my dinner while watching TV. Later I put my fish out to thaw ready for tonight's dinner, and I put the new flowers out. I'll put the old flowers and off cuts in the garden waste bin later today. What have you all been up to? I hope you are all well. Have a nice day.
