AI Art

I have been dabbling in AI Art mylotters. At first it was just for my amusement. I wanted to see some images of a daschund as a hot dog. Then I researched how I may be able to sell images generated by me on things like print on demand sites. Apparently you can sell images generated by AI. Of course if you are generating artwork from a source image that source image must be your own work. It does sort of cheapen the art market though... All of a sudden people with no talent are making masterpieces by putting words into a textbox. If I could sell some prints it'd certainly line my wallet which would be good for me... Need to get a bit more of my financial pillow back after the last round of bills.

@Fa_Maverick I bet it won't be long before loser guys start using it to create AI d*ck picks to send to women. There's always someone out there who takes something good and turns it into something bad.

Pretty posted an image that she did herself and was dogged on a site because they claimed it was AI generated. She wasn't happy about it.

@Fa_Maverick I have no clue. I don't ask and she doesn't tell me. She was just complaining about someone getting snarky about a picture Pretty drew...

That's a downside of these AI generated stuffs. We are compromising with real talents especially with creativity. I guess the debate on Ethical AI is pretty valid now. I use art as a therapy and I would never go for an AI generated one.

@Fa_Maverick I love art and I find it soothing and therapeutic to do it with hands. So, I am not looking at AI as an option.

Yeah there are a lot of statements being like "Id love to be an artist but I have no talent but now with AI I can be an aritst" or you could just put the time and effort into getting good.

That people who make arts using AI must be creative in some ways.... I guess?

I didn't know one could do that. Can we really sell images generated by AI? Because if we can do it legally, then I would do so. I love art but I could not draw or paint well. You're right, if all people could do masterpieces, then the market would be flooded. This AI still could not take the place of a real painter or artist because human hands and human minds are complex and could discern certain things that an AI device could certainly not. But let's wait and see.

Some platforms will let you sell the images you generate but others claim copyright on anything you generate so you cannot sell it. You just need to do your research :D

It seems like you've found an interesting way to make money by selling AI-generated images. I wish you the best of luck with this venture and hope that you'll be able to replenish your financial cushion.
