I don't really have much to say for the holiday today, but Hi! I really just wanted to show this drawing that I am really hecking proud of! Ahh! This year I have been really getting into doing coloring, I wanted to get better at it and I um...yeah I think I have. Just like...maybe a little bit, you know, just like a small bit. These are my characters, Carter and Kagami. They have an interesting dynamic. Carter has a big crush on Kagami, and it would totally seem that Carter is her type because he has the punk aesthetic, he loves to cook, he is a big sweetheart, and all of that matches Kagami, but she just doesn't see him that way. Forever in the friendzone my man...I'm sorry. (or is he, huehuehue) This drawing started out with them just sitting on/by a brick wall, I have done them a billion times before. But then I was like...What if I made it an abandoned building?!?! Because...why not make a simple drawing into something way more complex....I might be a masochist. And then I had the idea that they were going to be in an abandoned church. This is actually relevant to the story, there is a church that a bunch of the kids hang out at, it is dilapidated, all that stuff. And so I thought I would kinda go after that idea. Then I was like...I wanna make a mosaicon the WALL! That wall...yeah that wall took me like an hour to do. It was easy to draw, but to clean it up...took forever! I love how this drawing turned out sooooo much, I adore it, it is one of my favorites, just ahh! I hope everyone has/had a great holiday and are staying safe!

What a brilliant and creative mind you have..I am so in awe of this wonderful drawing..and I love the four leaf clover!! They look so cute and the colors are amazing. So realistic..they come to life looking at it. That was an amazing idea to do the abandoned building too. That wall is freaking amazing! Sort of Arabian like somehow. Happy St Pats to you Felicia.

So just the wall alone took an hour? So worth the time it turned out fantastic I love the stone wall and the bricks? From start to finish how long did the entire thing take you to draw?

I love drawing bricks, I don't know what it is but I love drawing brick walls haha I had never done that kind of pattern before for a wall so it took a while, most of it was just the clean up since it was very tiny lines, but it was worth it! I think this one took me about 5-6 hours, which is a normal amount of time for a color drawing for me.
