No good deed goes unpunished

My neighbor's dog has been here for a couple of hours. I'm tired and ready for bed. I texted her that I was dropping him back off and she asked me to make sure the light was on and the kitchen camera was pointed on his cage. I turned the light on but didn't see his crate anywhere. I even looked in her bedroom but couldn't see it. The light switch didn't work but I didn't see it. Then Whiskey ran under the bed and hid as if I was torturing him. I finally gave up on the idea of going to sleep after getting Whiskey out from under the bed. He is back here now and the daughter is supposed to be back here around 10:30 pm. So I'm just going to soldier on until she arrives to get the dog. I'm so tired.

I know you’re trying to help your neighbor but isn’t that too much?

I´d call it quits as a dog sitter after this. If you want a dog (or a cat ot a child) you should take care of him.

Snuggle with him, see if he likes napping with you. Well, on the other hand, the cats might be jealous and you’d never get rid of Whiskey again.

This really affects your rest. At 10:30 pm, most people have already rested.I hope your neighbors can thank you and make up for your efforts

What happened to the crate? That was quite an imposition!

I think you should have informed your neighbor that , to avoid being in a mess
