You know I'm struggling with negative thoughts. I just think now I need to be very very busy so that my mind will not have time to think of negative things. I think it works. I feel much better now as busyness occupies my mind
I also need to work hard and tired myself all through the day so at night I'm exhausted and will fall asleep easily to fight insomnia.
My siblings chose the most expensive cancer treatment plan for my mother which is 50,000 pesos per session. There are cheaper treatment plan but my siblings are prepared to spend more just to give the best treatment for my mom. There will be 6 session of chemotherapy and we will be spending 300,000 pesos for that. It will really drain our money and that is good to save for our house building plan but we need to save our life first before making our new house.

She have 2 more treatments after the chemo. I hope the money spent is worth to extend the life of my mother

@DaddyEvil She have no serious side effects. I hope it will be that way until she finish it. What type of cancer do you have? She had surgery too but her cancer is stage IV so she need chemo

@averygirl72 I had skin cancer. It metastasized in four patches. The oncologist (cancer doctor) removed all four patches.
Oh, I'm sorry. Stage IV means there is no cure. The doctors can only make her as comfortable as possible until she passes away. (A friend of mine had stage IV cancer and the doctors opened her up to try to remove it and then closed her up because the cancer had taken over. She passed away two months later.)

@shaggin I can't help with the expenses because my earning is just enough for me. I just help in house keeping jobs

My youngest sister look for a new and better paying job just to help my mother in her medical expenses. I just help them in household chores. I do the household chores my mother used to do. My siblings take care of the expenses for the house and her cancer treatment

Sorry to hear that,hope your mother will recover after treatment.One of my aunt is accepting cancer treatment now,and the treatment fee stressed out her children.Your siblings and you are wonderful children.

@averygirl72 Yup! Because not always I entertain video call and not many people wanting to video call with me. So when it comes to video call, usually ended up longer than expected.

Is the therapy too expensive? If the result is expected, money is not everything. I mean you find some from friends to help you.

Staying busy can help in the short term, but you need to talk about what you're thinking or find a healthy outlet to allow those feelings out.

@averygirl72 Like I said, that's good for the short term, but you need to face those thoughts eventually and release the emotions they invoke in a healthy way.

How many are you? You and siblings? You are all very good to help your dear Mother.
I really pray that this treatment will knock out that cancer and save her life.
Did the doctors say this should do it?
Yes me too insomnia big time and depression if I do not stay busy.
I really hope you care for yourself also.

I feel better now as I busy myself work, work, work. This would make me really tired. We are 4 children in the family. My mom is doing well in her expensive chemo treatment. She deserves the best

Best of luck to your mom with the treatments and I hope they will help her, I hope the new week will be good for you, Hey, look I am an anxiety warrior so what I do is continue to concentrate on my online writing and I also have a laptop playing music or something so I have not time for any negative thoughts,

I feel better with this strategy. I'm an anxiety warrior too. I get busy and I've done so many for now and I feel great now that my thoughts are away from negative thoughts
