Almost leafless

We have this new bougainvillea which we had almost lost but we managed to save it. It is now quite robust but I notice there are hardly any leaves The bush seems to be in a mighty hurry to satisfy me and has started producing flowers almost with no leaves This mustard colour against the bare twigs looks quite attractive. Once it starts raining there will sure be leaves on this bush and later when the rains stop it will yield huge clusters.

I love bougainvilleas! It reminds me of home. I used to take care of them when I was in the Philippines. They have really bright and vivid colours. I am glad you were able to save this one.

Bougainvilleas are among my favorite vines. I have seen some small ones during our walk last week, but they do not grow well here. The magnolia trees are all blooming now and beautiful.

Bougainvilleas are my favourite. I have so many nostalgic memories of playing around the trees in my grandparents house. I am sure that some lush green leaves would be there in rainy season. Till then enjoy the leafless beauty
