Chilly Friday

But so far mostly dry at least. I have fed the barn cats and we have picked up eggs. So now I can stay in the house. I am going to vacuum where the bookcase used to set in the big bedroom. That will be a warm spot to work.
I also plan to get some more things moved to the bookcase today. I want to get ready to move the next piece of furniture. By the end of next week I hope to be close to sleeping in the big bedroom again. As I mentioned it's a lot warmer room.
Next fall I might even close off half of the family room. I just need to work out how to set the TV and furniture in just half of the room. I know where I can move the dining table to. The TV is the big problem. It would have to go near the big bay window. But I have a few months to get that done. I will still have to buy a good room divider to use also

Yup! Only 42F here and part of the city is flooded... At least it drains off quickly here. We got well over an inch of rain all at once and are supposed to get twice that amount today. (An inch of rain screws with our plumbing... We can't flush, shower or wash dishes until the rain stops and some of the water in the sewers drains away.)

That is a good practice moving furniture as you get to clean those spots occupied by furniture

I thought it was Friday when I sat down at my PC this morning,. With the cats being quiet and sleeping when I next looked up it was dark outside,

Enjoy your walk. It’s swimming here, although the drainage ditch near the restaurant where I’m eating isn’t swollen like it gets when it really rains hard.
