Spring?

Monday was my uncle’s birthday and the first day of spring, but it was chilly here. It was a bit chilly the next day too. 
But yesterday was beautiful, warm and breezy. I wished I was near the water!
We saw some birds flying back up here from the south.
Today it rained all day. So we stayed inside.
The next few days the forecast is calling for it to be chilly again and some more rain tomorrow.

We had two days in the 70s but then it started storming and it's gotten cold again. It's supposed to rain here for several more days. With lows in the mid-30s...
I got the pots out on the front porch ready to be planted but will need to wait until the threat of frost is gone before planting anything except spinach.
I'm definitely ready for Spring to get here.

@dfollin Oh, yeah... But we can still get snow and Winter weather into April here.

@DaddyEvil Ours usually ends in March but when I was a kid, when Easter was always in April, it snowed. My grandmother said it snowed one time here in the early 1900’s!

It's the opposite here, sunny skies and extremely hot and humid weather are here again. The sweltering heat is not motivating me to go out and walk, instead, I'm cooped up in my aircon room. I wish you could give us some of your chilly weather.

I wish I could too and thanks. I hope yours get's cooler. There are some days I use the air conditioning and mostly at night. When I was a kid we used to have the windows open and the fan's blowing. I live on the ground floor and don't feel as safe now, so I don't leave the windows open at night. I would love to live near the water on an upper floor (not too high and an elevator) and leave the window open at night and feel the breeze!

It doesn't feel much like Spring here although it doesn't feel like winter either.

It was a little under 50°F here today. The furnace where my daughter works is broken. They have a back up system of some sort and two space heaters but it’s still very cold in there. It’s going to be 40°F tomorrow. Im worried about how old it may be in there for her to work tomorrow if it was so cold in there today at 10° warmer. That’s going to suck for the customers too I don’t know why they don’t just close until the furnace is repaired Monday.

It's been close to 80 but will drop into the 40s and 50s the next couple of days. Then it will warm up again!
