The lone cashew apple

While the bell fruit is loaded there are hardly any cashew apples this season The tree is loaded with leaves but hardly any cashew apples in sight
I spent quite a bit of time to spot fruits if any any and my camera did not let me down. There almost touching the sky was this lone cashew apple ready to fall. It is only waiting for some gentle breeze and I am sure when I stroll the garden tomorrow I will find it on the ground
There have been a few and we have collected the seeds. I cannot eat the fruit as it affects my throat but the gardener enjoys tem.
