First love

I know I'm too old for this but I would like to share this experience. Just recently I connected with my first love through FB. He has grandkids as I have too. And what happened was that we had fun reminiscing our naïve and funny misadventures when we were teens,
When we broke up then, I thought it was the end of the world, but eventually, I met my true love and lived a happy married life with him. My first love asked me if I still remember our memories, I laughed and said, I did because everything was firsts for me. We decided to keep in touch as friends for old-time's sake.
Were you able to marry your first love? What was your first love like?

Sorry about the ending,you two have gotten together years,it means there are real love between yous,may i know the reason of divorce.I always was surprised a couple divorce after many years of marriage.I felt that's not understandable.If a couple don't have love,how can they get together many years,if they have love,why end up divorcing.This situation seems contradictory.

My first and sadly only love started like a fairytale and ended like a nightmare. It has damaged me a lot, and I think I have never recovered from it.

And I too was found by my first love on FB.
As I was saying in the thing I wrote recently.
I am glad that you met up with yours too.
It was the best with him and we did not marry but we were so young.

I found my first love on Facebook but we never met. Yes, it was a blind date and it went on for 4 months. In the end, it didn't work out.
