13 big guppies, 1 butterflyfish, 1 hammerhead, 4 tiger barb fish, 66 baby guppies, 6 common mollies, 2 mollies, 4 black widow tetras, 3 angelfish and so many snails. Those are species of fish in my fish tank now. I want to have more species that can go with them. Today I had to rearrange my tank. 9 guppies dead, 3 window tetras dead, and 2 snails dead.

Sorry you lost some of your fish. It looks beautiful. I had one years ago as I shared with you a few days ago. Enjoy!

Why did you stop maintaining an aquarium?

A lot of fish. We used to have them, when my kids were home.

I'm sorry you're losing fishies. I hope the tank stabilizes soon so the deaths stop. The tank looks lovely.

Why are so many fish dying in the tank? Is there enough Oxygen in the water

Now you have a big aquarium. How many gallons/liters is that? If that is a brand-new tank you have to have it cycled before putting in the fish. The deaths that you encounter may be the result of an uncycled tank. You can cycle your tank by letting it empty first with water and allow it to mature over time. There are many drops nowadays that can hasten the cycling of a tank though if you really want your fish to occupy it.

@Neil43 Luck with it. I hope there won't be any more fatalities in your tank. Deaths will reduce after the cycle is established in your tank. Simply keep an eye on the parameters to see if they are being kept. Even though deaths are unavoidable, they will eventually occur in your tank. As they continue to breed and have offspring, my tank's population is growing, which is why I occasionally experience mortality. Since there isn't room for another tank at my place, I am unable to purchase one.

It's 6 gallons only. Thanks for that very good suggestion.

I'm sorry you lost some of your fish and snails. Do you have too many fish in the tank?
