Jeff Neil who was a passenger aboard an United Airlines flight from Los Angeles to Boston three weeks ago when an unruly passenger named Francisco Severro Torres allegedly attempted to open the side door of the airplane as it coming to Boston. Jeff who worked as a bouncer at a club before he landed a job with a software company was seated one row back when Francisco attempted to open the door that would have ended the life of the passengers aboard the plane had he been able to open the door, A flight attendant was attacked by Francisco when he stabbed her with a broken metal spoon before Jeff and several other passengers tackle Francisco until the plane arrived at Logan International Airport. Francisco was taken into custody by the police and charged with the crime of attempting to hijack an airplane. Jeff was awarded in his hometown of Exeter New Hampshire with a "Citizen Award" by Exeter Police Chief Stephan Poulin a few weeks ago. Jeff insists he is not a hero. He was just doing his job of preventing a tragic event from happening. Source is kxxv.com/news/airline-p...

Francisco is being sent to a mental health hospital since he wanted to die as well as the passengers.

It is a shame that a few persons do not value the life of other people aboard planes.

That is true since I have seen reenactments of airplane crashes on You Tube streaming channels and it is very scary.

I'm always glad to hear it when a citizen takes action rather than letting things happen.
