In countryside there are big parking lots.

The good part of the countryside in India is that besides the farmlands and the petrol pumps there are big parking lots. Vehicles can be parked any where and there are no separate parking charges also. It is as opposed to the urbanized places where vehicles have to be kept in a small area without damaging the other vehicles.

Probably it is the same everywhere. In the city it is expensive and even not easy to find the parking. In our office building it charges at least USD3/hour. This is very expensive. Whereas it is easy to find a parking lot and usually it is even free of charge in the countryside.

In a city like HK, it's not easy to find parking. And it's expensive too.

Yes that's very much true!
But I suppose one needs to park them with security and gear lock etc so as to prevent theft.
On highways we do however have some outlets with good eating joints like McD, Burger King, Pizza Hut, Haldiram's etc that entice people.
And they too have parking but that tends to be good and spacious.
