That's it. Just morning. Not "good" morning. It is 38 degrees F and dark here at the Jersey Shore. I have had an absolutely miserable night. As I wrote yesterday I wasn't feeling well. My stomach was upset, I was nauseous, and I didn't eat anything. I napped for 2 hours and then headed back to bed just before 9 pm. I laid there in bed for HOURS without even a yawn. I alternated between being hot and cold but that isn't necessarily unusual when you are a woman of a certain age, under 2 blankets, and next to 3 cats. Finally at 1 am I had the genius idea to take 2 Benadryl as that always knocks me out. I fell asleep after 2 I dozed off. . . only to be woken up by banging outside at 3 am. It sounded like someone was trying to smash into the mailboxes. I got up to see what was going on and it was 2 guys trying to get a tube TV into a smaller SUV. I don't know who needs to move a TV at 3 am but it was the stupidest theft ever if that's what it was. The TV had to have been at least 15 years old. One guy actually left on an electric bike. Great getaway vehicle. I think I managed about 30 minutes of sleep after that. I still don't feel great but the water and supplements that I took are staying down so far so I consider that a good sign. In any case I am going to top up the cats' food and water, grab a book, and bring my phone and watch chargers with me to work. If I still am struggling this afternoon I'm just going to go straight to the ER. I have to be dehydrated at the very least at this point. I am hoping to just get through the day at work since I barely slept at all last night. I hope you all have a good day.
