Lunch prep done! By the way, do you also feel the same?

Hello again. This post is all about meal preparation. It's time for lunch here and I'm already done with lunch preparation. I have cleaned & chopped bitter gourds, with which we will be making bitter gourd Sambhar. Mom peeled the skin of the potatoes and I chopped them and we will make potato fries. It's been more than a month since I had potatoes. Ha ha! So I'm excited to have them. We also have carrots ready, we just boil them and have them quite later after lunch. I feel like cooking is really an easy task provided if we keep all the required things and ingredients ready. Do you also feel the same? Image: Mine.

Send me the potatoes fries . I never tried the bitter gourd sambar.. yes when all the ingredients are ready it makes cooking easy . Why don't you eat carrots raw ? You always prefer boiled ones ?.

I have sent it. Hope you should have received it by now. Oh! I see! Then what recipes do you prepare using bitter gourd... Other than pakodas? Yes. I feel the same. When compared to household chores cooking is the easiest if everything is made ready beforehand. Carrots...I love them boiled than having them in raw form. But I'll try.

@Teekaaa where did you send the picture ?. We prepare bitter gourd rarely,if we do they are just added with spices and fried with jaggery. Sometimes besan flour is also added to it. We can get more health benefits from eating raw than boiled ones .it has crunchy texture which i like it in raw ones . The boiled ones are soft .

@Icydoll I did not mean the picture, I meant the recipe itself. I see! I have never tried that way. That's true. But I can't eat more than one if it's raw. Also, I like the soft and mushy texture.

Agree with you. As long as the ingredients have been prepared before hand, it is easy to cook already.

Sorry, but cooking is my most "hated" household chore, so I never volunteered to cook. I cook sometimes but only my favorite dish- egg omelet. It is because I want to get the taste that I wanted.

Haha. My most hated/ boring household chore is vessel washing. That consumes a lot of time compared to other tasks. I love cooking and since I am a beginner I explore a lot. Yeah, I can totally relate with you. When it comes to our favourite dish that too if we want it homemade then all the effort that we put into it will be worth it finally.

Same here, Anna. I am a beginner who's interested to try new recipes. I just make everything ready and the whole process would seem way more simple.

You are eating very healthy there. Yes I love cooking and preparing. Better with two people but I am always alone with it.

Since I love to cook, I enjoy it, so it isn't really 'work' for me.

I will have to go the the wet market to get my ingredients. That in itself can be pretty tiring.

I agree. The ingredients should already be prepared. I absolutely hate chopping vegetables ?? And wow potato fries. I haven't had them in months.

Haha. But if the vegetables are chopped and we have them ready, then everything becomes easier.

I'm ashamed to admit, but my cooking is always spontaneous , it all depends on what I wanted to eat at the moment)

Yup! I usually prepare veggies because it's easy. If I prepare meat, it will get harder to prep and cook longer too.
