5 April - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today worked like clockwork. It was all in harmony from the moment I got up this morning at 4 AM. Earlier than yesterday. I'm thankful for how well today worked together. I had wonderful sleep because it rained all night and rain puts me to sleep better than a lullaby. I woke up once around two this morning, but I went right back to bed. It wasn't the thunder that woke me, either, but it was the thunder that put me right back to sleep for a couple more hours. I'm thankful for my time spent here with you. I'm a far cry from having the notifications finished, but at least I got to see what you're doing in your world and that makes me happy. I'm thankful for the exercise class this morning. We did the shorter tape this morning. I've been cutting my miles down on the bike to work with the tape better. So, five miles instead of six. I'm thankful I left right away to get groceries. I'm thankful traffic wasn't heavy and I found a wonderful parking space when I got to the store. My refrigerator looks much better. So, does my freezer. I'm thankful for my friend who brought me a leg of lamb this morning for my Easter dinner. She didn't want anything for it. I asked her what book she would like in return for the lamb. She wants the new one when it's published. I'm thankful for rock painting. I brought two rocks home today. I painted the landscape last time, and the cardinal today. I'm thankful my friend who proofread my manuscript had it today and I now have it here and have my work cut out for me. It's good to have another set of eyes. I should have it published before the end of the month. She loved it. I asked her what genre it belonged in. She surprised me when she said, Thriller. I'm thankful for prayer tonight. It was a time of powerful prayer before God. I'm thankful for my grandson. He called to say he couldn't make it today, but he invited himself to Easter dinner. I'm so glad he's coming for dinner. That makes five people with the possibility of six. I'm glad I have enough lamb. I'm thankful I have all my steps. I have now surpassed 10K with getting the Bingo numbers. Okay, that's my day.
