Lime juice is recommended as being a health drink. But not for me. If I have it my throat gets affected and I get a burning sensation.
A lemonade with beer goes well and so also when I add a dash of the lime juice in salads and while making the bell fruit juice. We have thick skinned limes in our garden that are ideal for making pickle and again this I cannot take. I just give them away
What are you allergic to?

@allknowing I do not think to have other allergies. Pollen during spring, but not food.

I too like the smell of lime. If you are not aware that means you have no allergy

Not liking is fine but not agreeing with you would be a problem

I sometimes drink hot cola with lemon. I am allergic to mango, cantaloupe and I have very sensitive skin. All my skin care products must be fragrance free.

Every soap has fragrance. How do you manage?

@allknowing I use liquid soap for hand wash. Some just have a very mild fragrance. For face wash and moisturizers, there are fragrance free products.

@Beestring I have never come across soaps without fragrance. Glad you have them there.
