1) "10 Days of a Good Man"--Netflix--Turkish Movie--2 hours & 4 minutes--Synopsis: a lawyer turned PI takes on a missing person case propelling him on unexpected and life-altering questions--another mystery with twists and turns where child prostitution is at the center--HOLDS YOUR INTEREST. 2) "AIR"--Movie--1 hour and 52 minutes--playing in local theaters--Synopsis: the history of how shoe salesman Sonny Vaccaro led Nike in the pursuit of the 'greatest athlete in the history of basketball' and helped make Micheal Jordon a billionaire--strong cast but why director/actor Ben Afflick did the red hair bit is disturbing when he is on screen--FIRST HOUR BORING--2ND MUCH BETTER--VIOLA DAVIS TURNS IN ANOTHER NOMINATING PERFORMANCE--ENDING CREDITS TELLING ABOUT EACH REAL PERSON FASCINATING. 3) "BEEF"--Netflix--series--10 episodes--5 hours & 52 minutes--Synopsis: road rage between strangers sparks a feud and consumes two people with their egos clashing and affecting every aspect of their lives--many different looks at Asian-American families living in New York--LOTS OF TWISTS & TURNS--YOU EXPECT THE ENDING BUT ARE SURPRISED WHEN IT HAPPENS! 4) "Daisy Jones & The Six"--Prime Amazon--season 1--10 episodes--8 hours & 24 minutes--Synopsis: born into privilege Daisy Jones is a spirited and enigmatic singer/songwriter who comes of age and rises to rock stardom during the 1970s--loosely based on the Fleetwood Mac band--while the music didn't hold my interest the stories of the relationships did--I DID LEARN ABOUT A WORLD I KNEW NOTHING ABOUT PLUS BEHIND THE SCENES OF 1970s ROCK AND ROLL! 5) "Money Shot: The Pornhub Story"--Netflix--Documentary--1 hour & 34 minutes--Synopsis: the business of porn seen from all sides (except customers!!!)--ONLY A DOCUMENTARY COULD MAKE SEX BORING, BUT THOSE AGAINST PORN WIN! 6) "Carol"--Netflix--2015 movie--1 hour & 58 minutes--Synopsis: a glamorous married woman and an aspiring female photographer embark on a passionate, 'forbidden' romance that will forever change their lives--great soundtrack from the 1950s and an excellent cast with a mesmerizing performance by Cate Blanchett--I LOVED IT 8 YEARS AGO AND AGAIN NOW--A MUST SEE! 7) "Paradise Lost"--Netflix--Brazilian movie--1 hour & 50 minutes--Synopsis: a cop moonlights as the bodyguard for a young drag queen at a nightclub--a lot of good music--a great cast--LOTS OF CONFUSION (FOR ME) OF WHO/HOW WAS RELATED TO EACH OTHER BUT EVENTUALLY EXPLAINED--WOW! 8) "Unstable"--Netflix--Series--8 episodes--3 hours & 9 minutes--Synopsis: a biotech genius tries to bounce back from the depths of grief with help from his son--Rob Lowe and his son John Owen Lowe are spitting images of each other but at latter doesn't act as crazy as the former--IT HAS A GOOD PREMISE BUT JUST MISSES BEING A GOOD SERIES MAINLY BECAUSE OF ROB LOWE'S PERFORMANCE!
