This is very important in life. We are reminded by God to face our life everyday doing our best performing our best in life. God should see that we are doing our best in life and he will take care of the rest of our concerns in life.
Do your best to earn money. Do your best to help yourself and family. Do your best in managing your time, managing your money. Do your best in facing difficulties and problems.
We shouldn't be there doing nothing not making an effort to do our best. God helps people that help themselves. Do our part and God will do his part.
Be inspired to do your best everyday because God will bless us if he sees we are doing our best in everything. Don't have loser defeated thoughts always have winner, victorious thoughts

Yes, this is the same as saying help yourself and God will help you. In fact, help from God comes from the people around us, and the events occurring around us. That's why karma comes into the situation. Good karma will help you with God fulfilling your prayers.

@averygirl72 I think that God is there for all people, those doing their best, and those not doing their best too.
If we pray to God, he will help us to do our best, when for some reason, something is stopping us from currently doing our best.
Jesus Christ said that he came for the sinner, the one not doing their best, as he wants to help these people to move away from their sin, and to do their best for God, for themselves, and for life itself's sake, too

Of course, the best that we can do today, might be different than the best we can do tomorrow, so we should do our best in each moment, as best we can from who we are at that moment.
Doing our best, can also involve us in asking others for help, as nobody can do it all alone.
God helps those who help themselves, is a saying that I remember about this too.

@averygirl72 In most cases, this would be true, I think too, but at times, we are actually better doing less than our best too, as doing something adequately, is sometimes better than pushing ourselves to do our best, in a situation, where adequate might be enough.
Making my breakfast in the morning, is a poor example, but I do it rotely, (while listening to the radio) and if I do not do my best, having some breakfast is still better than having no breakfast.
Sometimes, getting the job done, is more important than doing it in the best way.
If my grass is long, and I can see the rain approaching, I might mow it quickly, not doing my best, just to get the job done for now, might be another example, here of not doing our best in some situations.
To be pigheaded, and try always to do our best, might be an over-requirement at times then.

Yes. Give your best and God will take care of the rest. I absolutely agree with these thoughts.
We have to try no matter what. If it's victory, we would feel happy. If it's not, no worries, we would have got loads of experience. Anyway, it's a win-win.
Above all, God is there to take care of us.
