Sophie's in Love

Two campsites over from us is a couple with a large black dog named Onyx. He is a very friendly dog and, surprise-surprise, Sophie gets along well with him. She gets along so well, that I think she is actually quite smitten with him When we saw Onyx out for a walk with his people while I was walking her, she practically dragged me up the street to see him. Sophie hasn't any tail, but when she's really happy, she wiggles her butt as if she does. Let me tell you, she was Miss Wigglebutt this morning. Onyx seemed just as happy to see her. His long tail was whipping back and forth fast enough to stir up dust. I've never seen two dogs take to each other the way Sophie and Onyx have. It must be love.
