12 April - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good afternoon, early evening from Green Bay, Wisconsin. Well, it's official. It's hot and we broke records. The expected high was 82 F. It's 85 F. It feels like it too.
I'm thankful for many things today.
I'm thankful for sleeping in. I was up by 3:30 this morning. I know, I know. That's not sleeping in. Well, it is for me. I'm not going to the pool right now. I know I want to, but it's too hard to move in the morning. Not an excuse, a fact. Getting old hurts. Literally.
I'm thankful for breakfast. I had my usual, eggs, baked potato, and a banana.
I'm thankful for all the exercise I got this morning. I had an exercise class this morning. I got my five miles on the bike while the others worked out with the video. Then instead of walking the building, I walked outside. I got the Bingo numbers and proceeded to the trail. I had over 9K steps when all was said and done. I'm now over 10K, and that could be 11K before I go to bed tonight as I still have prayer in a couple of hours and that means more walking.
I'm thankful for Bible study this afternoon. We started a new study on the book of Micah.
I'm thankful I have all the notifications done and could spend time with you.

Today started out bright and sunny, but became cloudy and windy. We're being teased with rain, but so far no rain. I am thankful that it didn't rain yet. George and I were out and about.I a thankful things worked out well, tooo. Hoping we get the promised rain tonight and tomorrow.

That is a lovely photo, It reminds me of the streams in Latvian forests, Best of luck with your book. I am thankful for food to eat, quiet to do my work, and cats who listen to me and let me work,
