I am eating my partner's deliciously cooked dishes again. Good food and some nice movie and a lovely weather. Family with me, what more can I ask for. I am full and already had lunch with my partner and now I am having a cup of coffee. While he was gone I was in charge of cooking and washing the dishes and I must say it is no easy task. I still do hope we find an arrangement at work so the chores is spread among the three of us me my partner and our daughter. Although I hate to make my daughter take on more tasks because she has rheumatic heart and has too much on her plate with her studies. It saddens me that she still wants to study in Manila. But of course I will support her in her decisions.

I'm sorry to hear about your daughter. Chores should definitely be shared.

She had a major life threatening operation when she 8 months. That is why we had the tendency to "spoil" and protect her and love her more. Slowly we can teach her to do the chores.

Yes that is something I like about him. And he is a better cook than I am.

@yoalldudes - My husband knows how to cook, but he stopped cooking many years ago.

it is always good to arrange tasks and chores between you three. I am sure it will help your daughter when she will be alone in Manila and needs to take care of herself

In my case we wash our own plates after meals. My wife does the rest. Anyway its good that you enjoyed that food bonding session you just had. Good luck on her plans to study here in Manila. I assume she already knows how to handle her medical condition when she is here in Manila. It could be a very stressful place here so she needs to muster enough strength mentally and physically to achieve her dream of studying here in Manila.
