Today is my day-off. I am planning to cook this squid dish called 'adobong pusit.' I need more time to know how to do it. I am checking it out the 'How Tos' on YouTube. It is my new food experiment in the kitchen. I have been craving it for quite some time now. I wish my mom can just be here and teach me how to cook it. Do you use YouTube if wanted to cook something? Image Credit: lutongpinoyrecipe.com

I have a look at YouTube and then I go read my cooking books to be sure that what I see online is correct and not "adjusted" to make it look "unique".

I wish I could find the old cooking books of my mom. Since I have not seen them yet, I am trying my best to learn from YouTube.

Nice that at least you've accomplished doing that. I think that is a bit complicated to do as there are times that if not cooked well the squid meat may not be that supple and hard to chew on. And there are those that are just so soft.

Actually, I have not tried to cook it. I had watched a video clip that it needs 10 minutes to make the meat soft. I am bit puzzled in that sense.

My DIL always goes to YouTube when wanting to cook a new dish. That's delicious, but I prefer "calamares", the one that is coated with flour and egg and then deep-fried. You can then dip it in vinegar and red pepper.

I also like that dish. It would be my next project in cooking. I just want to have some because my mom was so good at cooking it before.

It sounds delicious but I have never tried squid dishes yet. I have seen this kind of dishes in Marina beach. I usually take help of youtube to cook something in my kitchen. Enjoy your day

Recently, I am not fond of eating meat with fats. I prefer lean meat and some seafoods in my city. I dislike fish with soup though.
