Short story: A Rabbi talks on God, and Divine consciousness

God is different for every person

The old Rabbi, Carlov Zerdoski, was talking to his students about how God's truth is reflected uniquely in each person, that that truth dwells within. Here is how he put it, in his own words: "God is different for every person, and every person is different to God." "This is why when we listen to the viewpoints of others, it helps us to understand God's truth within us better too." "We each have unique personalities, and dispositions, and we must allow for this when we endeavour to understand another person's ideas about truth." "We need to support and encourage each other through love, and forgiveness, not through arrogance, and superiority." "When we acquire higher levels of consciousness, from contact with God, we need to bring that down from our soul level, to exist in our minds enough for us to be able to share it with others too, and so help to raise the overall society, to be more conscious of God too." "This knowledge, and closeness, to God, that an increased divine consciousness brings to us, helps the world to be a more peaceful, and loving place for all living there too." "Divine consciousness is possible for each and every human being, and divine consciousness, wants to express itself in us, so that we are lanterns for God, on this Earth". "We become God realised by realising God within ourselves, by our living from his spirit, via his divine consciousness." "The truth expands in each of us, as much as we love. God is love, and all truth comes from him. We need to live from conscious love." Photo Credit: The photo used in this article was sourced from the free media site, pixabay.com

This is wonderful, and wouldn't it be even more wonderful to meet God?

Yes, perhaps one day, we will all be able to meet up with him in person, and that will be a great day, for each one of us too.

Yes, God is love and we need to grow in our love and we may be at different levels and the more love we have the more we can give.

Yes, each of us can do our best to love, as best we can, and when we do so, we then naturally grow in the power of love, and in our understanding of its truths, and how they can work, and operate, in our own life too.

As they say, God is love and if we only open our hearts to Him, his Divine consciousness would manifest from within us. Indeed, the world would be a better place to live in if everyone has this consciousness inside them because then love will predominate and people will learn to accept each other's differences, love themselves, and love others as well.

That's all very true. The world would certainly improve, if we all loved more, and were mindful of God's consciousness, living within us, which we all have the chance to raise ourselves up to, and to live from too.

The need for love in our lives is never overstated The world is bereft of love due to our misplaced priorities and leaders who are led by ego and avarice. God is just an afterthought for them and is used conveniently for selfish motives. Putting love ahead of our thoughts and actions has been a challenge. And we are forced to exist in a dangerous game of brinkmanship. Everyone is a creation of God and has the right to their existence. Then "live and let others live" will underpin our thoughts and actions.

Yes, everyone has the chance to live their life rightly for God, and from his energy of love, alive within them too. When we push love aside, and ignore what is right and true, we live by rules of our own making that lead us astray, down the paths of greed, and aggressiveness, and so then we move away from God, and his peace, love and truth, then too.

@Shiva49 Yes, for sure the righteous path has not departed from us; it is always there in our heart to take, as the blueprint of God's for our life. We have created our own riotous path instead, and abandoned the call to love, and right living.

@innertalks When we live for God, we can accept the twists and turns in life with equanimity. Then we live within the oneness of humanity and accept the uniqueness of each. Obviously, we have strayed from this righteous path.

Yes, God's heart is forgiving, and loving, and when our heart becomes likewise, we become conscious then of God's truths living within us too. This is the only truth that can set us free from our own mind's wants, desires, and obsessions.
