Saturday Morning Brief

Good morning from a slightly overcast warm day in Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA.
It was a great getting up morning. I got up at 3:30 this morning and got right to work on the computer. I have my Bible study done and posted, and just got back from my morning walk on the trail.
Yesterday someone asked me if I ever saw any wildlife on the trail. It's been a while since I saw a deer. This morning I was rewarded with a wild turkey, pictured above. When I left for the trail at 6:30 this morning, it was 62 F. It will be another warm day, but cooler than the last few, so they say. Our high today is expected at 79 F.
The first thing I did this morning was open the patio door. I hate being closed in and I don't like the A/C. I like my door open.
My plans for today: Sell books. It's the winter market this morning from 9-1, so I'll be leaving as soon as I finish my breakfast. I expect to sell one book today and hopefully more than that. One of the vendors has been buying a book at each of the last three markets. Today she'll get the last one in the series. She said she wants to buy all my books. We'll see if she buys another one as the one in two weeks is the last winter market.
Other than that, I plan on getting the rest of my steps when I get home. I don't usually get many steps at the market. I also need to work on Where Eagles Soar. I got quite a bit done yesterday before I got off the computer.
With all my walking yesterday, I made a new achievement with walking. I got over 13 K steps yesterday. It helped this morning. Either that or having walked the trail the last three days helped. My back wasn't sore before I started and my legs weren't hurting by the time I got back. I'm going on 6K steps right now, so it won't take much to get my 8K step goal. It will be interesting to see how many more steps I get throughout the day.
Okay, that's my day. What are your plans for Saturday or have you come to the end of your day? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.

On Thursday, I wanted to go walk along the local nature trail I'd read about, so I headed that way, and took a wrong turn, walking a half a mile out of the way before realizing it, but found my way to the trail and back home again. That was a whole 5.2 miles - which I can do, but only if I split it up throughout the day. I am over 55, and my knees are prosthetic. Once home, my degenerative left heel said, "No more!" so I am still taking it easy.
Next week is the inspection for recertification of my tenancy in this apartment, so I have a little spot cleaning to do and I'll have to get out the paperwork the property manager will need, but otherwise, this is my weekend of rest.

@just4him The rest of my body is tapping me on the shoulder and whispering it because I have also had a headache.
Thank you. I know it will, too.

Also just to clarify.
"Where Eagles Soar" is the current book that you published and now need to make some changes?
Or I interpreted something else?

So you had a turkey crossing your path. We have raccoons here and we saw a family of them one night a few years ago. We are night folks and see a lot of odd creatures around sometimes.
Did you sell any books? Hope so.

Not much planned for today actually. I did my walking yesterday. I also got some food..so OK on that. Nothing socially going on unfortunately. I will have to try to find something for next weekend.

Just getting moving here. Might have a nap later. Except for that my day depends on the weather.
