Fusion Food: "Chop Suey"

The only fusion food that I can cook is called "chop suey." It is a combination of American and Chinese cuisine. In our house, I usually cook it once a week. The reason is that most ingredients are vegetables. We need to be healthier in our diet lately. It can be modified when it comes to having some meat, such as chicken, pork, seafood, etc. I must say that I am doing well at cooking this since I learned how to make it. Are you fond of cooking fusion food? Image Credit: foxyfolksy.com

For now, I am cooking with simple ingredients only. Maybe next time with fusion food.

I tend to cook more American foods but Pretty will, once in a while, cook Chinese food or Indian food. She just doesn't like to cook very often.

If you are not there, I am sure she will cook for herself. I have not tried to cook Indian food like curry.

@Shavkat I always make large amounts of food and freeze part of it so we don't need to cook every day unless we want to. She likes most of the foods I make.

I know Chop suey is of Chinese roots. But we have made our own mixtures and I know there are just many variations of this.

I love chop suey, but my DIL usually cooks our food. The veggies are indeed healthy and fibrous so they are good for one's healthy digestive system.

You said it right. It seems that your DIL is so close to you. Did she capture your weaknesses in food?

Looks good but please leave me in one peace so I can enjoy the chop suey. It sucks getting your faced smashed when you trying to eat chop suey.
