Should I or should I not is a question that arises in my mind before taking certain decisions as there could be the possibility of opening up a Pandora's box One of my nieces sent me a message talking derogatively about her husband and it has disturbed me no end. The question is should I just forget about it or raise the issue with her husband. I know if I do it it will open the Pandora's box This link will let you know that Pandora's box is: Do you have any issues if opened will be like opening the Pandora's box?

NO, you should not raise the issue with her husband. This is something I would never do. We have a saying in Italy "Tra moglie e marito non mettere il dito" (do not place your finger between husband and wife) it's to say to let them solve their problems together, no external intervention.

@Fleura These kind of situations arise where there are youngster who seek permission for certain activities or ask for things such as a car or permission to drive etc.

If you want to open Pandora's box you should be fully prepared for the eventual onslaught. But getting to the bottom of things is always good to have a fresh start - that is if everyone involved agrees to it. If not, then you will only be creating a "tsunami" that you may not be able to contain. In your case, it may be necessary to open it so that communication lines would be opened and hope could spring forward. This is a music video about Pandora's box, giving off hope in the end. You may want to watch it.

You are in a tricky situation and I would personally not go ahead and open the pandora box. Especially when it's a conflict between couples, it's wiser stay distant
