As discussed in my previous post, we faced a lot of challenges due to heavy rains and cold when visiting the High altitude Nainital zoo. We had a few things to see during our return visit. Thankfully, although not fully sunny, there was no rain this day. Our stop was at a Theme Eco Cave park in Nainital. It has caves designed in the way real animals have like for Tiger, Leopard, Bat, Monkeys etc. We went to a few of the caves. At a few places, we had to literally crawl - yes it was so adventurous!! Then we stopped to have a view of a lake from a great height. The lake is named Khurpatal. I read that its color changes sometimes due to different mineral deposits. But for the details, I would need a complete post. We were probably at a height around 2200 M and feeling very cold. Then we began the descent to Kathgodam station which is at a height of around 550 M or so. We had a return train to New Delhi. It was a hectic day but enjoyable. ------- Overall some good memories and experiences but some good lessons as well. Did you enjoy my posts? @rakski It was at a Eco Cave park which had caves designed in a natural way. The crawling was a part of our "adventurous" activity!!

It looks like a very isolated place. Glad you and the family enjoyed it.

@RebeccasFarm The crawling was only for some time. And a good physical activity for us who sometimes get into a highly sedentary mode!

That sounds really enjoyable Can I get catered food up there if I try to crawl and get stuck in a cave?

@TheHorse There was a Food joint within the Eco Cave Park. So if you plan properly, that is technically possible. Plus being the Prez of India, you can get perhaps 10 to 15 % off as well.
