Good person saves a German Shepherd who was running on an interestate

Debbie Allen who is a resident of Detroit Michigan who owns a dog herself showed her heart of compassion when she saw a German Shepherd dog that was running on Interstate 94 westbound when Debbie stopped her auto, got out of her auto to rescue the dog by grabbing the dog from the center divider to the side of the interstate.
The dog was limping since he was hit by an auto while he was on the interstate. By the time Debbie rescued the dog and took him to safety, the Michigan State Police went to check on the condition of Debbie and the dog to see if they were okay.
The Humane Society arrived to take the dog to their location where they hope to reunite the dog with his owner.
Debbie believed that the dog that she rescued on the interstate simply ran away from his home since the dog was in good health at the time when he was rescued from being hit by an auto.

I felt bad for the dog myself since I used to own a German Shepherd myself many years ago.

@Deepizzaguy Yes I certianly love them ..my Dad raised them we had many George. My first dog was a German Shepherd.

The poof doggy, Now how did he get on the interstate, I think in cases like this a full explanation should come from the owner before the dog is returned,

I hope the dog will be safe and can be reunited with his owners.
When I grew up in Philadelphia 1-95 was our backyard and sadly many dogs would try to run across it and not make it.
