Colourful umbrellas

Sitting my favourite corner I can see the main road. I now see umbrellas being used by every passerby.
I have not gone out for quite a while and so the need for making use of an umbrella does not arise But after Peppie our pet cat asked me to wear a hat I do that when I step out of the house to take strolls in the garden I spray water in the front garden using a faucet spray that I keep shifting from place to place and for that I need to step out many times I take it as an exercise
What colour is your umbrella as I am sure you must be using it in this intense heat

@allknowing - I see, I wore my shades when I mowed the lawn the last Monday, I feared to get grass in my eyes.

@allknowing I have an old pair of "Polaroid" glasses that even help me to see better the camera screen.

It isn't that common to use an umbrella for the heat in the United States. That is not to say it isn't done because it gets incredibly hot all over the country. About six years ago I got so sick of getting headaches from the heat while simply walking my dog that I bought myself a parasol. I got a few weird looks while using it, but I did not care.

What's so unusual about using a parasol I say. Good you do not bother about other people's stares and opinions. I am the same.

Where I stay the umbrella is necessary one minute its sunny and scorching but the next a heavy downpour you couldn't expect

I had quite a few too but when I realised they over turn with the slightesdt breeze I stopped using them and gave them away I now have a black large umbrella mostly used by men

I have a lovely umbrella..it is huge and heavy for me.
