When i read about Amazon rain forest , which is the biggest rain forest now and having various variety of life species is there , is in danger. we need to safe guard forest and the animals, trees and plants there. "We don't own the planet Earth, we belong to it. And we must share it with our wildlife" i remember the words of Steve Irwin now.

We have been destroying the Amazon Rain Forest for decades .. And we need to start repairing the damage we have done sooner rather than later The planet needs a healthy Amazon Rain Forest

@JimBo452020 as you said pointless in just talking, but someone have to do something and hope it will happen. Its going through 9 countries. the people from these countries should really try and stop the people who is destroying the Amazon forest

They are destroying the Amazon Rain Forest to grow the palms to produce "palm oil" that is dangerous but cheap.$ We should all boycott this oil.

I am not sure about that , but if it is true then the oil is also bad for health and we should not use that. so that can save our health and also the forest

@sunilparthan - The oil is not healthy but now a lot used by food companies. Our country has banned the products containing palm oil.

I am not very surprised to it. As human beings tend to gain more profits rather than care about the environment

yes they are just running behind the profit and they use this profit to spend for their health, which is getting destroyed like the forest.

@marguicha should find some other solutions instead of plastic and also making paper from Tree.

@sunilparthan We stopped using plastic bags here and now the super is giving us lots of paper bags for the groceries (trees dying). I remember that when I was young I made two big canvas bags to bring back my groceries. I think that there is still one of them somewhere around the house.

@sunilparthan Well, yes and no. Efforts to use renewable resources and clean energy are good on paper, but take years to put into practice.
