I admire the courage of Edmond Oklahoma resident Rachel Foster who is the top chef and owner of Moni's Pasta and Pizza who suffered a severe brain injury when she was riding on an electric motor scooter in November while riding around in her neighborhood with her husband John when she fell off the scooter. Rachel suffered some broken bones and a severe head injury which caused her to fall into a coma for about one week. One day before she was to have her life support removed, she did regain consciousness which is a miracle in itself. Rachel had her operation at the Shepherd Center in Atlanta Georgia since that hospital was the closest hospital that could operate on her brain injury after her accident. Rache did qualify to compete in the Boston Marathon after her recovery from her accident since she loves to compete in marathons despite having to deal with a near death experience. Rachel finish in 127th place in the 2023 Boston Marathon which is a wonderful accomplishment after her near death experience six months ago. Link is kfor.com/news/local/edm...

I am in agreement with you since a brain injury is very scary for anyone to go through.
