When we bought our first fridge years ago there was nothing that I did not try that needed the fridge - mousse, blancmange, and ofcourse jelly.
My husband got the molds to put the jelly in. First I tried with ready made jelly crystals that had the flavour, sugar with gelatin I later tried it with real fruits. Getting layers of jelly in different colours was something I loved to do. I used jelly as a topping for cakes and stuff. All in all it was a joyful experience.
It is summer here and what better way to handle summer making jelly and this time I will use mangoes.
How do you make your jelly?

Good you reminded me. Have not prepared custard for a while now. I prefer caramel custard.

I usually buy jelly from groceries. On occasion, my sister makes jelly. It is in powder form and it is poured in boiling water and constantly mixed. It is then set aside to cool and then placed in the fridge to settle and chill for about three to four hours.

@allknowing You can but sometimes there is a different taste because of the sweetener used. It's okay. We just eat other stuff.
