Crotons the most neglected foliage is having a pride of place in our garden. I find them beautiful with large colourful leaves one bush better than the other. I had bought just one plant and now they are all over the place.
Sadly because they are easy to grow not many gardens will have them. When flowers do not grow they are there to add colour to our garden.
As one enters our house the first thing one sees before getting inside is this bush that you see in the photo

We used to have that. We call them San Francisco.

@allknowing I don't know. That was what my mother told me when I was little. Upon research now, I see the other name for it is croton. They're one and the same with some variations in color.

@allknowing I finally cut the crotons after the gardener informed me that they are poisonous to cats.

@allknowing They become all yellow and brown in direct sunshine, in the shade you also see some green leaves.
