Caretaker saves the life of a 5th grade student who was choking eating on a meal

Thanks to the actions of La Mesa Elementary School which is located in Albuquerque New Mexico, a fifth grade student named Christian Ortiz Gonzales who at his lunch break on Thursday April 20, Christian was saved from death when the school custodian Janet Garcia took action by using the Heimlich maneuver on Christian to remove the food object from his throat.
Janet said that she learned the life saving maneuver when her son was a member of Boy Scouts Of America taught her to use that maneuver to save the life of Christian.
The good news of this story is that Christian made a full recovery from his near death experience since he went to school the next day.

I did edit the story since it was Janet's son who was a Boy Scout who taught his mom the Heimlich Maneuver.
