This was one among my several aspirations that I could not fulfil during my young days In those days girls could not ride nor learn to cycle. But may be later I could have. Somehow that day did not dawn.
How I wish I could and carry our pets just as you see in the photo but that was not to be.
Do you ride a bicycle. Have you taken your pets for a cycle ride?

Here in India girls are not normally encouraged. Good you enjoyed in your younger days

@LadyDuck It was the same in India during our time but now it is different. Many girls are experts in cycling, biking, car driving, etc.

@allknowing In Italy, girls were not encouraged when I was young. It was fine to go cycling in the country side, but in city it was not at all convenient. Women had to dress elegant and those elegant dresses were not appropriate to go cycling.

Unless they are trained it would be risky to take them for rides.

As fas as I can remember I learned how to ride a bike when I was 10yrs old and it was fun.

@allknowing usually just around town, four or five miles each way. Sometimes further if I have a lot of errands and it's a nice day

@allknowing Yes, I ride a shared bike. I have obtained a monthly pass, which is cheap. For example, after I step out of the subway, there may still be a 10 minute walk from my destination. At this time, I scan the QR code at the subway entrance to ride a shared bike.
