Do people still visit libraries?!Today is National Library Outreach Day!

Hi guys, Hope you all are doing good. I am doing well too. I didn't knew about the concept of BookMobile which was developed in early 19th century by the American School Library wherein the bus visits rural towns and local communities giving them the new books to read and educate themselves. It was a novel concept in order to make people educated throughout the world. This concept died in 21st century as due to advance of technology, people started having access to reading materials online and due to the transportation costs and pollution caused to environment, these bookmobiles stopped. I really wonder that are people still visiting libraries today? I highly doubt it as there might be very few people who would be doing it. Because of internet, one has access to a lot of information online no matter sitting in which corner of the world. All they need is a mobile and internet facility. I don't remember the last time I visited library to read. I had gone to library to donate books for others to read. Let me know your thoughts about it. Have a good day!! Take care!!
