29 April - What I'm Thankful for Today

It's no surprise to anyone except my sister that I'm an early riser. I was up at 2:45 this morning, but what to do? I couldn't get on the computer. I couldn't get on my phone apps, I can now, and breakfast was still a long way away. I'm thankful for the time I spent with my sister and her husband. We had a wonderful visit. I'm thankful for the time spent with my brother and his wife. We don't spend a lot of time together, even though we don't live too far from each other, but we all have our own lives and my brother and his wife still work. I'm thankful I got to spend time with my cousins today. I know it was a sad occasion, the funeral of my cousin who is the same age as me. I learned she was battling cancer for the last five years. There were five brothers and sisters in my mother's family. Four of the clans were represented. Only the cousins from Minnesota didn't make it. I took many pictures at the luncheon. I was very happy to see my aunt, my mother's youngest brother's wife at the funeral. My uncle couldn't be there. We did a lot of catching up at the luncheon. Now, I only need to remember who's who in the pictures. I'm thankful for the weather. It only rained this morning before we left for the funeral and when I was almost home, and only a sprinkle. I'm thankful my friend represented me at the market today. She messaged me and told me she sold five books. That makes a total of 21 books sold at the market. It will be an early night. I'm really tired. Though my phone is almost out of charge so I need to get it charged before I go to bed. I'm also thankful I have all my steps today. Okay, that's my day.
