It's One of Those Days

Yesterday our microwave started randomly beeping and going into the clock set mode. I unplugged it, figuring it'd at least last the week it will take us to have a new one shipped... ha. This morning I plugged it in to warm up some soup and none of the buttons would work. Then my kid insisted we had to make brownies. So we made brownies... and while I was adding a few more minutes to the timer on my phone I dropped it flat on its face on the hard floor. Wrecked the whole bottom half of the screen, and of course the edges of the cracks had to be sharp so I can't just keep using it as is. Now I'm wondering if the grocery trip I was planning for later is a good idea after all. Both the microwave and the phone were things my husband and I had discussed replacing last week... as was my car. And they say that bad luck comes in threes, don't they? Are you superstitious, or are you like me and just a little 'stitious when things go wrong one right after another?

Yes I am very superstitious when it comes to that sort of thing. I would definitely not drive Yuki..just me, maybe I am weird. Gosh so sorry the day turned out like this. Having a doozy of a one here too. But better safe than sorry Yuki.

I know... but I want an excuse to have to buy the new car sooner rather than later. Maybe not that excuse, though. It's actually been a pretty good day, minor inconveniences aside. Sorry to hear yours is a doozy.

@yukimori Nope, not at all. If I see a ladder and it can be walked under, I walk under it.

Ha, I recognize that Michael Scott line. He was just a little stitious... Um, I think I would be tempted to stay home after that.

Would you believe the most I've seen of The Office is a few of the memes that circulate the internet? I totally waited until my husband got home from work so we could take his car instead of mine.

I hate when bad things happen like that. But, I am sure you can turn it around. We replaced our Microwave Friday, after the heating element blew in the old one.

We were able to get a replacement for ours without too much trouble, thankfully. It's actually really nice, and incredibly quiet compared to the last one.

Sorry I do share your sorrow for all the problems you are facing the laughter is because of how you said about the car. In your place I would not touch the car but order for delivery just in case,

No worries, it is pretty funny! We did end up going out... in my husband's car, not mine.

Not really superstitious but I often wonder why me when so many things can go wrong, one right after another. That has been happening to me this past week. It has to get better.

Ah, yeah, it's rough when it all happens at once. I'm sorry you're having to deal with that right now. I hope more good things start coming your way soon.

I don’t really get superstitious, but I can understand why you would be.

I haven't noticed if that happened to me because I was not aware of that superstition. I'm sorry for that.

I pretend not to be superstitious, but when you notice that some things always happen in three you have to believe that there is something true behind this superstition.
