Pizza, anyone? / myLot

It’s a long weekend here in my country, meaning no work or school from 4/29 to 5/1. My shop isn’t very busy because everyone seems to be out at the beach or swimming pools to beat the heat. I’d rather stay home, but my BFF invited us to her house for her mom’s birthday. I know her mom well—I used to hang out at their house a lot back in high school—and she’s also my godmother at my wedding. I brought wine for her and ordered a big pizza for everyone to share. I know @LadyDuck would have something to say about the pizza. Lol.

That's a big one. Shakey's or Greenwich? I was craving pizza yesterday but my son brought KFC and ube cake instead, which he knew I liked so much. Today I will buy pizza from Pizza Hut. Happy birthday to your friend's mom. I hope you get to enjoy the party. Have fun.

@sol_cee Just looking at it I knew, the pizza crust, must be soft, and the part not covered with the sauce raised and not flat. In Italy that part is called "cornicione". If the cornicione looks bad, the pizza cannot be good.

Looks yummy. I baked a frozen pizza today while the oven was hot after cooking biscuits. I cut it and stored it in the fridge. I’ll heat a piece in the microwave when I want it.
