Auto dispenser - a memory

I had only read about auto dispensers where when one inserts coins in the clot one could get candies. It was my dream to have this experience. While on my Europe package tour we were waiting for our tourist bus at Rotterdam. And there on the roadside I saw a dispenser. I dropped a coin in that slot and a candy showed up. The child in me made me do this. I was overjoyed. Any first time experience that you can share with us? Image credit:

That is nice you enjoyed that machine and the candy you got. The first time I saw my son's little face was the best.

I have always been around vending machines. Having a computer in 2000 and later a cell phone was new to me.

Vending machines are rarely seen here I got my first computer in 1998 followed by the mobile

I remember when we got our first cell phone and I was walking down a sidewalk in town talking on my phone and I felt so pretentious!

I have used them for so long and so often I cannot remember my first experiences. But I suppose when they were new to me I found them pretty cool too.

Here in India I am not sure if they have introduced them yet. But I had read about them in Archie comics (lol)

I can't remember one, but I always played with my grandkids in play machines at the mall that use drop coins, My favorite game was pinball, I won some coins too, and gave them to the kids, so they could play more.

I cannot remember the first time I used one of those machines. We had them in Italy since I was a young girl. May be it was at the railway station in Milan.

@allknowing - I have always seen those vending machines in Italy, they still have them also here. I used to buy something when waiting for my husband at the hospital.
