Tuesday tasks + what's for lunch

It's 11:37 am as I write this. I've just finished studying my daughter's module and will read it with her later this afternoon. Early this morning I've done some cooking and lunch box preps, then swept the front garden. I managed to fold and pile some old clothes for donation, too. I'm slowly easing back to the daily grind after a long Labor Day weekend. My husband is back to work as well and my eldest daughter is back in campus. I'm home with my second daughter as usual because she's homeschooling with me. I've been trying very hard to catch up on module readings because we've got 2 months left to finish everything. I'm thankful that this morning, although humid, has been tolerable. It's been really hot here the past few weeks that it's getting harder and harder to do tasks even if there's a roof on top of your head. We can only use airconditioning for some hours during the day and at night. I'm taking a break from laptop work after I post this and will cook lunch. We're having sauteed mung bean sprouts and stuffed milkfish. Hope your week goes well.

Is the air conditioner just too expensive to run for more than a few hours? Do most people have air conditioners?

Not many people here have airconditioning at home. Thankfully, malls are open until about 9 or 10 pm so people just flock there to get some cold air. We run our air conditioner for at least 10 hours at night, so we're trying to limit its use during the day to save on electricity costs.

Yes, looking forward to that time when I wouldn't have to worry about deadlines. I took a break last weekend and began painting again. What a relief. Thanks, Anna.
