Hi guys,
Hope you all are doing good. I am doing well too.
Today, 5th May is celebrated as "National Watch Day". This day was first established in 2017 by the high end department store moghul, Nordstrom.
This American Luxury Retail Chain founded the day with the purpose of showing some attention to the fascinating history and design of the craft of watchmaking.
The invention of mobile has lessen the consumption of watches, however, still there are many people who are very fond of watches especially antique and vintage ones.
There are nowadays Water resistant Watches, Digital Watches etc. It's a shift from old simple watches to modern ones.
I am someone who isn't much into wearing watch. Let me know your thoughts about it. Have a good day. Take care.

Technology might have lowered sales of the conventional watch, but the tech world is saturated with wearables. Smart watches. fitness trackers, and the like. I personally wear an Apple Watch.

Yes, with mobile phones doing everything having a wristwatch today is obsolete. However, I still will wear one to the beach and when I'm timing my walks when getting some exercise. I avoid getting sand on my phone at the beach that way, and there to inconvenient to use as a stopwatch while walking.
