A very unusual summer evening

Last evening was very unusual. I've mentioned that we have had some welcome rains intermittently in the last couple of weeks. These offer respite from the intense summer heat.
Last evening, we had a heavy spell of rains at 3 pm. The evening was lovely and we were treated to the sight of misty clouds on top of the hill that can be seen from my balcony. This is usually seen in December when it is much cooler, but I guess the rapid changes in temperature and humidity this evening uncovered this phenomenon again.
It's such a surprising and beautiful sight in the middle of summer.

Yes the rains here too provided a lot of relief.
It is very unusual at this time.
It is very difficult to predict in what direction would the weather proceed these days.
It does feels like the winters, when we look at the image above.

Rain that passes through a city does cause a relief from the intense heat outside as well as inside.
