Two cows that were running with their fellow cows at Riggs High School in Pierre South Dakota on Wednesday in an exhibit decided in the words of the authorities "Skip school" and run into the streets of the capital of South Dakota. The two cows ran around the streets, highways and yards until they were captured by deputies of the Hughes County Sheriff's Office, animal control officers and the Pierre Police Department who captured the two cows at the Pierre Softball Complex by taking to the fenced in area. The cows then returned to high school after the cows would calm down. No one was hurt in the incident. I am sure that the authorities had a good time dealing with two cows skipping school instead of dealing with a more serious matter. Link is upi.com/4551683220531 via @upi.com

That reminds me of when our two cows escaped our backyard, and while our neighbors banded together to help, a few police officers ended up being the final part of the solution.

I bet here that the police couldn't find a cow in a haystack

@JimBo452020 They weren’t hard to find, probably even for your police! Lol We weren’t even really in the country, and we only lived on that land for two years. The bull stayed in the fence, but the two cows decided they wanted out.

Cows skipping school is not something that we would see every day. They normally quite enjoy lessons

@Deepizzaguy You would think they would want to milk every minute of every lesson

People seem to forget that animals are instinctual and don't live in our world.

That is very true since I read about animals not living in our world via human interest magazines.

When big animals gets out of fences it will become a community concern. I hope the owner gets it back the soonest.

I am in agreement with you since law enforcement officers never harm an animal unless their life is in danger.
