Second crop of bell fruit

The tree is packed and so is the ground covered with the fruits. There are no takers for the bell fruits that come up each season. Most houses have this tree and I have not seen anything selling them. Our compost pits are happy They get to relish fresh fruits as mostly rotten stuff goes in there. Next year we will get some good compost.

It is a shame there are no people interested to take them.

I did give away a few but there are far too many. I understand in cities they are sold at exorbitant rates.

@LadyDuck I have plenty of lamenting stories. We have tart cherries, and even jackfruits sometimes do not get sold. And plants that multiply by the hundreds - do not know how to sell

@allknowing - I pruned the rosemary and the sage and I have two big bags full. I will burn in the fireplace when dry. In the city one small branch is sold for $ 1.

Sorry that there are no takers for that fruit. I would have loved to get it from you. I don't like fresh fruits going into compost.

My best friend is really into composting. She even has a composting toilet. That is too gross for me, but more power to anyone who does it.

I think we also have this kind of fruit here. Usually they are in the parks and by the lakes.

Lucky compost. . Perhaps, other areas don't have them. It's sad no one needs them, but they are not wasted anyway..

We also have a bell fruit tree but ours is the reddish/pink variant. It isn't sold too here and not many people likes or eats this fruit.
